Contact protocols

We encourage open communication at all times throughout the My Home project.

Should any participant need to contact a mentor or coordinator, we ask that you do this in writing via email in the first instance, to the following central address:

humans@southlandcreative.org.au

Personal contact can be made using the primary contact details listed below in the second instance (where deemed necessary).

You may also send a text message or make a phone call using the mobile numbers listed, following email contact, if you feel this is necessary.

Alex

0402894906

Jonnie

0414825192

Lucy

0419270281

Please note that personal contact to the above mentors should only be made to advise of a participant’s inability to join an upcoming workshop, or to advise project coordinators of any individual difficulties with progressing through the coursework or meeting suggested deadlines.

Questions, feedback, and comments about participants’ stories or film work should be made within the Learning Management System (LMS) or online workshop sessions — not via the personal contact details of a mentor.

While our mentors are committed to working with participants on an individual level and providing support and feedback in a timely manner, it is important to respect the personal and professional lives of mentors. We have supplied our personal contacts to ensure you can contact us at any time, but we ask you to use them wisely!

Our admin email will be checked more regularly than our personal addresses day to day, so this is the best place to send your correspondence in the first instance.

We acknowledge and pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, Elders, and custodians across Australia, whose customs and cultures continue to inspire and connect us.

Please note, sections of our website may contains images, video, audio, and writings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have passed. We acknowledge them for the indelible mark they have left on our journey.
